Cool events accessible by train from Deptford landings

If you’re arriving in Deptford without a driver’s licence, whether you’ll have access to enough events via Deptford train station can be a daunting question. Luckily, the Deptford area is remarkably well connected, meaning you won’t be confined to Deptford High Street. Here are just a few cool things coming up that’ll only take a short trip on the train, from stations within walking distance.

Big Up! at Southbank Centre

Canada Water connects you directly to the Jubilee Line, which basically means you’ll never be short of things to do. It’s a direct journey to Waterloo station, from where the shortest of walks will take you to the always entertaining Southbank Centre. Big Up! Is an unmissable show in which a beatboxer and a puppet share a stage with no script, no props, and only their wits to see them through the hour. Hilarity ensues.

Bear Funny Comedy at The Finsbury

The Finsbury is a long-established haven for comedians trying out new material. If you’re into seeing comedians trying out their latest titbits with varying success, then you’ll just need to make a short walk, to Surrey Quays station. Once you’re on the train, you should be there in under half an hour.

Education Whiskey Tasting Fundraiser at LBRF
