Deptford Landings Plot 5 Consultation – November 2019

About the Project

The Deptford Landings is a new part of the community in North Deptford, located between Pepys Park and Deptford Park (see map below). The former industrial site will see the creation of new homes together with new retail, workspaces and opportunities for flexible working and start-up businesses. The Deptford Landings will also create new connections between Grove Street and Evelyn Street and a safe new pedestrian and cycle route under Oxestalls Road bridge, connecting the site to the wider network of green open space. Construction on the site has already begun on Plot 2, located opposite Pepys Park, which is due for completion in early 2020.

Planning permission was granted by Lewisham Council in March 2016 and since then, Lendlease has been working on both delivering the first new homes on the site and developing the building designs in collaboration with scheme architects. This planning application sought to provide additional homes with more affordable housing, increased workspaces and better connectivity. This will take the form of a new application for Plot 5 involving a revised building design that we wanted to take to the community for discussion.

This planning application was submitted to Lewisham Council in early-mid 2020.
